Neblix (Nabeel Ansari) is a music composer, producer, sound designer, software developer, and student based in Philadelphia, PA. He is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics & Music, a program he created and managed on his own at Drexel University, and he is expected to graduate in June, 2018.

Nabeel aspires to write and produce original soundtracks for film and video games, as well as his own original music for public release. His craft has studied and been inspired by classical and modern composers alike, with an emphasis on progressive color and rhythm. He is a member of the Game Audio Network Guild, and has studied composition for brief periods under a variety of teachers including Adam Gubman.

He prides himself in learning new musical styles and production techniques with speed, and is able to work on tight schedules very quickly, finishing music such as dense action cues in as little as a couple days. He places a lot of value on small details of the experience and values collaborative discussion with clients.

Nabeel is a professional developer and infrastructure specialist for Impact Soundworks, and does work in sample library preparation, editing, scripting, and testing in collaboration with company founder and lead developer Andrew “Zircon” Aversa. He is the Lead Engineer of Super Audio Cart, as well as the Smart Voicing technology introduced in the 2017 product Straight Ahead Jazz Horns and the Total Articulation Control Technology articulation playback system. He also currently works as the Audio Director for Gossamer Games LLC and is working on the musical soundtrack and sound design for their first title, Sole.

Aside from his career, Nabeel is also an active member of OverClocked ReMix. He regularly produces arranged music for the annual Apex Fighting Game Tournament official albums and has also been featured on Crypt of the Necrodancer: OverClocked and the Mega Man 25th Anniversary official Capcom album. He has also publicly spoken on the “How to Make ReMixes” panels given by OverClocked ReMix in past years at MAGFest events.
